Bead Embroidery Phase V

Phase V is another three-day project. Combining variety of bead techniques learned in previous phases,  introduces the student to more advanced beading design and technique through the embroidering of a "pochette."

Choosing fabric and bead is part of the class. The materials may differ from the pictures.

• Cotton fabric (design transferred)

You  need:

• All purpose thread (black and white)
• 29" Japanese embroidery frame
• Needles (M2)
• Tekobari
• Awl
• Any embroidery scissors
• Koma
• One pair of mounting fabric
• Bead mat for holding beads
• Lining
• Interfacing
• Sponge
